FIRE PROTECTION & LIFE SAFETY

IT that keeps up
with the field.

Inspections, service calls and alarm work happen away from the office. Your technology has to keep the field and the office working from the same information.

Field technicians and the office

Keep alarm, sprinkler and inspection crews connected to job information, scheduling and documentation from the truck. We support the laptops, phones and remote access they rely on, and agree how devices that live in a vehicle are secured, updated and replaced.

Legacy programming laptops

Older panel-programming software often keeps a laptop on an older Windows version that cannot simply be refreshed. We record those machines as named exceptions so they stay out of the ordinary replacement plan, and agree a labelled, tested spare and a swap process before one fails on a job.

Multiple locations and branches

Branch offices, shops and yards need the same access as the main office. We support the networks, internet circuits and site-to-site access that connect them, and coordinate carrier and vendor work rather than leaving it with your office manager.

Job management and back-office systems

Your dispatch, inspection reporting and accounting systems are the business. We keep the servers, cloud services and Microsoft 365 behind them supported and backed up, and coordinate with your software vendors when an issue crosses systems.

Customer and building information

Account records, site details and access information deserve real protection. We cover endpoint security, email security, access control on your systems and backup you can restore from, with clear responsibilities on both sides.

Planning and replacement budgets

We track device age, warranty and end of life so replacements are planned and quoted ahead of time, including design and estimating machines that need more than a standard office computer.

How we work

Agree the scope.
Protect the schedule.

Understand the work

Start with how your crews actually run a day: what they carry, what they log in to and what happens when it does not work at a job site.

Agree the plan

Write down what we support, what stays with a software vendor and where the exceptions are, so nothing sits between two parties during a busy inspection season.

Support and review

Everyday support for the office and field, with a regular review of device age, security and what needs budgeting next year.

Straight answers

A few things
you might be wondering.

We have old laptops that can only run our panel programming software. Do they have to be replaced?

No. We record them as named exceptions so they are excluded from the ordinary refresh plan while the asset record, real operating system and dates are kept. The more useful conversation is having prepared spares ready and a clear swap process when one fails.

Do you support our inspection reporting or dispatch software?

We support the computers, network, Microsoft 365 and servers those applications depend on, and we coordinate with the software vendor when a problem crosses between us. We do not present ourselves as the developer of those platforms.

Can you support more than one location?

Yes. We support main offices along with branches, shops and remote sites, including the internet circuits and vendor coordination that connect them.

Do you handle the alarm panels themselves?

No. Fire alarm and sprinkler systems are your expertise. We support the business technology around them: the computers, network, email, servers and data your team uses to sell, schedule, inspect and bill.
